The district of Mannarazze looks down onto the cathedral and the bay of Noto. It’s name refers to the “Mannere”, the small hills situated a brief distance away where, long ago, the local people took their animals out to pasture. Or, according to another theory, the name “Mannarazze” comes from the “Madonna delle Grazie”, a deep-rooted form of worship amongst these silent little streets set between the main road of this baroque town and the “Piano Alto” district.
It is, therefore, a very quiet district just a few metres from the main historical places of interest in the town and, because of this, is always highly valued as a place to live.
Embrace Sicily has, therefore, reserved for you some great offers, ideal for whoever is looking for a city retreat among the beautiful baroque buildings but also steeped in the characteristic and scenic atmosphere of Noto.
